Blog Post Assignment 9

My experience taking honors English was very different. I like how well taught the lessons were. Mr.Rease explained everything several times before testing us on the material. Most of the children in my class didn't act very much like honor student at all. This is something that I least liked about the course. I learned a lot of things while taking this course. One thing was always put your effort into everything you do! I would take the course again because I really liked this class and how everything was taught. I would just want to take the class with a different group of students , maybe some that actually care about their grades and other things of that nature.

Blog Spot Assigment 8 (late).

The section that I struggled with the most was the math section. That wasn't the kind of math that I was taking so I didn't know how to most of the math. In my opinion I don't think B.C. Rain prepared us very well for the ACT. It's like the test just came up out the blue. The testing environment was ok. It was pretty cold in there. I don't think I did too good. The test was pretty hard. Hopefully I made a 19 or better. If I didn't I'm going to study harder and make a better score. I didn't prepare myself at all honestly.  

Blog Post Assignment 5 (late).

I'm Laura Mae. I have known Miss.Emma and her family for a long time. We have been neighbors and friends since were little. I currently cleans the homes of one of the local sheriff. Jefferson is a good person. In my opinion Jefferson is innocent. Jefferson was just in the wrong place at the wrong time. There's no evidence that Jefferson really committed the crime. I'm Requesting a stay of execution for Jefferson. He shouldn't be killed for something that he didn't do.

 The American dream is that every us citizen should have equal opportunity. The American dream is what most people outside the united states dream of. The American dream gives people who do not stay in the united States something to look forward too , if they ever decide to come here. Immigrants and other people from other countries take more advantage of the American then the actual Americans. Their are many concepts of the American . The American dream mostly in my opinion is every one have equal opportunity and the opportunity to do whatever they want (as long as it's legal). That's what I think the American dream is.

    My American dream is to become a successful Psychologist. One day I hope to start up my own psychology practice. I have one than one American dream actually. If things don't seem to work out with being a psychologist , I would love to become a computer engineer! I love everything about computers and the way that they work. Also , I would like to have a good husband , nice car and two story house . These are a few of my 'American Dreams'. I think everyone could achieve the American dream if they really out their minds to it .

A random act of kindness that I would have love to have done is give food away to those that don't have it. By Easter and everything just passing I know they would have loved to have a good meal to eat. That would bring a smile to a lot of people's faces.

Chapter 4 & 5 quotes
"What do I say to him? Do I know what a man is? Do I know how a man is supposed to die? I'm still trying to find out how a man should live. Am I suppose to tell someone how to die who has never lived" page 31

Yes , this quote indicates a conflict. The conflict is that Jefferson doesn't know how he is suppose to teach Grant how to die a man. When he still hasn't figured out how to be a man his self.

This quote characterize Jefferson. He says he only knows what the white people tell him to teach. It shows that Jefferson is insecure about teaching grant his final lesson because he doesn't want to fail.

"To learn anything he had to attain it by stealth or through an innate sense of things around him"

This quote contains a conflict. The conflict is even though Mr.Farrel knew what was really going he couldn't say anything about it. He had to remain quiet about it.


This characterize the character Mr.Farrel it shows that he isn't able to speak his man. It shows that he is scared to say things even though everyone knows what's going on.

Blog Post Assignment 3

A place I would like to go is Paris , France. I would like to go here because it seems like a really pretty place. I would like to see their culture and how they do things. Another reason I would like to go there is because of the people. I don't plan on going here anytime soon. Hopefully somewhere in the near future I get a chance to visit. Paris seems like it would be so beautiful at night time.
